How does the EcoCam wireless motion activated video surveillance camera monitoring system work?
The EcoCam system is armed using a battery operated wireless keypad, which sends an arm/disarm message on an encrypted radio frequency to a control panel.

Upon arming, the battery operated control panel alerts each of the camera detectors of its armed status.

The EcoCam solution provides for battery operated external or internal wireless camera detectors or battery operated wireless detection only devices.

Upon detection the camera is powered up, A 10 second video clip is recorded and wirelessly transmitted over an encrypted radio frequency to the alarm panel.
